Greeting from Salem!!!

Hey peoples,
I couldn't help touching base to share some of the pictures I took in Salem Cemetery Friday. Salem is an amazing place any time of year but I was so lucky to get there for Halloween this year since Salem at Halloween is something I've wanted to do since I was young. I'll tell you all about it next week when I get home but for now here are some fun creepy Halloween pictures for you. Happy Halloween

everyone!!!

All that Brass...

So I have picked a new collectible hobby. It's Brass. A couple of years ago my grandmother died and I was offered her brass horse piece. It was a piece I use to play with as a child and though my grandmother and I were never really close, I did want it. I love it. I have no idea how old it is but something about it makes me happy and so for my birthday I decided to ad to my collection. I bought a small piece of three Cocker spaniel puppies on Etsy. So since then, I have spent hours on Etsy looking up vintage brass stuff. I like the idea of owning something with a history and giving it a new home. So in honor of my new obsession I have made a Treasury. Take a look and hopefully you'll get a better sense of how and why Brass has made a place in my heart.

Up in the Garden: the last Harvest

So as my beloved Autumn drifts in and the Summer heads into the subset, my garden settles down. I was so proud of my garden this year and am sad to see it go. I've decided the Lavender bush will come indoors but the rest will come down this weekend. Yesterday I harvested the last of the tomatoes, 2 Radishes and a Green Pepper. I feel bad about cutting down the plants cause they are still doing well but the weather is going to take them if I don't and I think if they have to die I should be the one to do it. Here are some pictures of the latest Harvest...

Fall Leaves

One of my favorite things about Fall are the leaves. They come in

such a verity of bright, vivid colors that I just never get tired of them.

Happy October!!!

It's finally my favorite time of year, Fall. I love Autumn, the chill as it gets colder outside, the turning if the leaves and Halloween. Halloween is my favorite holiday and I go crazy for it. I've already decided months ago on a costume and already bought my $5 Old Navy Halloween T-shirt. I am ready for this holiday. This year for Halloween I'm going to be in Salem Mass. I've always wanted to do Salem at Halloween and I'm very excited. Between now and then I will celebrating all month long. I've already gotten my Halloween tree up and bought two mini pumpkins. One is white. I also picked up a couple of cute decorations from Pier One. I saw these last year but only got the Vampire. This year I got him some friends. I'm pretty sure I could make these but oh well...

Along with the change in the weather comes the fun of wearing scarves and I'm happy to report that I've finally finished the two scarves I was working on last winter. I'm planning on knitting a hat to go along with one. It's made of Angel Hair yarn from Joannes and it's super soft and colorful and honestly just plane awesome. It's extra long because that's how I like my scarves and I can already tell my mom is waiting for the right moment to steal it from me. She tends to do this with all my scarves but I might put up a real fight about this one. The scarf is definitely coming to Salem with me. The hat two, if I finish it in time.
